Review: RMK Recovery Gel Intensive Night Treatment Anti-Roughness & Hydration

Oh wow it's such a long name for this product - RMK Recovery Gel Intensive Night Treatment Anti-Roughness & Hydration. So today I'll be doing a review on it (I'm not going to repeat the name, scary!)

Let me list some facts about this gel first.

Ingredients:
Bread Yeast Extract
Apricot Seed Extract
Diptoassium Glycyrrhizinate (Anti-inflammatory)
Grapefruit Extract
Aloe Extract
Raspberry Extract
Ceramide D

Usage:
Last step of skincare routine. After applying lotion and serum, I massage about two pearl size of gel into my face. Then wrap it with my palms to help the gel absorb.

Price:
The Recovery Gel(40g) sells for 6,000円 alone but I got it in the Spring Care Kit which sells for 7,000円. It's a much better deal to get the whole kit. But still it's not very cheap especially when you buy online. The price could go all the way to $80+.

The jar is made of plastic, it'd be so much better if it's a glass jar. But at least the jar doesn't look cheap.

The inner lid comes with a handle for easy opening.

The gel is in yellow orange color with tiny white bits (capsules). It smells like grapefruit and looks so yummy that I almost want to take a bite.

Now let's do some "experiments" with the capsules, shall we? I scoop out a bit of gel on the back of my hand.

Here I'm smoothing it out gently so you can see the capsules are being crushed.

Massage the gel even more and the capsules completely disappear. I'm not sure if you can see the picture, but once the gel gets absorbed it leaves a beautiful sheen on the skin.

Thoughts:

It's definitely a Spring time skincare product. The grapefruit scent is so refreshing and it makes me want to sniff it all day long. The gel texture is light yet super moisturizing. I only used a couple times since June because it's almost a little too intensive for summer time. When I wake up in the morning my skin is still wet feeling but at least I know it's working. For now I kind of prefer something light. So I'll save it for fall and winter.

Conclusion:

I really like it. The grapefruit smell alone is well worth it and the white capsules are fun to play with too. But the most important thing is that it really is a treatment which makes my skin well hydrated and plumped overnight.

I LOVE PRODUCTS THAT HAVE CRUSHABLE CAPSULE THINGS! I remember I once had a little tube of Lancome exfoliating face stuff which had little crushable blue dots.

But yeah, that aside, sounds really yummy =P and also it's good it works for you!
