Review: Clinique All about Eyes Serum

As promised I'm going to do a review on the new Clinique all about eyes serum De-Puffing Eye Massage. I've been using this for about 3 weeks.

What it does:
"This instantly cooling serum refreshes and hydrates puffy, tired-looking eyes on contact. Brightens up eye area immediately and over time. Combats dark circles. Gentle massaging action deposits caffeine, potent antioxidants and soothing botanicals, and helps reduce undereye congestion." (instruction booklet)

Availability:
Clinique counters as well as Sephora

Packaging:
There's one outside cover that look like above. Then inside there's another box that looks like this. Honestly it's pointless and useless. It could do OK with just one box.

Price:
$25.50

Ingredients:
Contains Caffeine, Grape seed extract, Spike Moss, Rosemary, Hops, Pomegranate, Tangerine

Suitable for:
"Anyone - women or men, all Skin Types." (instruction booklet)

Scent:
No visible scent

Texture:
Very light and water-y

Application:
"Using gentle pressure, roll under each eye from inner corner to outer corner twice. Apply morning, night and as needed throughout the day." (instruction booklet)

PAO (Period-after-opening) :
6 months

Pros:
This is my roller type eye treatment product. The most thing I like about this product is that it doesn't sting my eyes, knowing it contains caffeine. The big metal ball is very soothing and cooling. The pen-shape is easy to use and carry around. The price is very inexpensive (15ml could last a long time).

Cons:
I don't see any visible change to my eyes. The dark circles and puffiness are still there. The PAO is fairly short, maybe because of the roller. It's not the most hygienic design.

Overall:
It's a nice little gadget with adorable color (yes I love the orange-y color). I only wish the serum itself works better. But it's worth trying. Just don't expect to see visible results over night.

I've been using this for about two weeks now, no visible effect either :T But I do like how the metal ball feels against my skin. Not the most hygienic design, but I can imagine this to finish pretty quickly as well. Oh well at least it wasn't overly expensive!!
