Coffret D'or IV - Fluffy Shine Eyes

I haven't been updating on the Coffret D'or Eyeshadow series for a while; today I'm going to show you the cream shadows which was released for the fall 2008 Collection. It's the Fluffy Shine (FS) Eyes.

Unlike the Trace Deep Eyes which was released for the same season, Fluffy Shine Eyes focus mainly on shimmer and shine rather than pigmentation. The packaging is somewhat consistent with the whole line. There was a clear wrap outside the box that I threw away. I really appreciate it because that way I know it's new when I buy it.

There're 5 shades in this collection. They are pretty much all the major colors that you need for cream shadows.

01 Crystalish White (White Tones)

02 Ruby Pink (Pink Tones)

03 Citrine Gold (Gold Tones)

04 Fluorite Blue Green (Blue-Green Tones)

05 Amethystant Purple (Purple Tones)

The texture is pretty light and spongy, almost feel like mousse. It's comparable to the Jill Stuart's Jelly Eye Colors but only cheaper. Some people might think the alcohol smell is annoying but it really doesn't bother me much. It's nothing strong but rather fresh. Also you're not supposed to sniff it anyway. They can be used alone for a fast splash of shine but I usually use them as an eyeshadow base. They make the power shadows stay longer and make less fall-outs. It will be a little gritty if using a blending motion so I always tab my ring finger in the pot and pad it on.
