My Favorite Lip Balm

Hi everyone! Today let me show you some of my lip balms. I don't use a lot of lip balms because I'm not used to the sticky feeling when I first apply it. But to save my extra dry lips during the winter time, I so use some before I go to bed.

So let's take a look at the ones I currently have.

This is the Shiseido Water In Lip. I bought it last year and haven't used a lot since then. It's probably my least favorite one. I don't like the minty tingling effect. But it's kind of my fault for buying this. I don't pay attention to the package. One good thing about this is that it has UV block function. And it's so affordable. If someone prefer a fresh feeling, it might be a good choice.

Now the 2nd one is the B&C Lab Lip Balm in an apple container. I got this because it looks so cute! They also have the pear and orange ones. This little thing isn't cheap, almost double the price of the Water In. It seems like apple of course and contains a lot of  natural moisturizing ingredients such as leaf extract, apple juice, orange seed extracts, Botanical collagen protein and botanical hyaluronic acid (Okra extraction). The moisturizing effect was OK. But I find it wax-y feeling kind of annoying so I didn't like it that much. However it became my daughter's toy and she made a big dent in the middle.

This one is another UV lip balm from Shiseido. It's called the Skincare Protective Lip Conditioner. I got this a couple years ago and still liking it. It doesn't have any scent which I love. It's not very heavy either. I normally use it as a lip base during day time since it has UV protection. The only drawback is the shape and its packaging. So plain and not cute.

Dior Lip Balm is probably the most interesting lip balm I've ever seen. Supposedly it responds to the color chemistry of your lips to create a shade that is uniquely yours and enhance your natural lip color. I think it's really cool that I can have my own lip color. Haha! On top of that, its SPF 10 sun protection is a plus. I only wished it was cheaper. 3.5g for $28 isn't too pleasant.

Cle de Peau Lip Contour Treatment. This is probably my favorite lip treatment ever. Its moisturizing and healing effect is just amazing. Literally it heals my chapped lips instantly. If I use it before I go to bed, the next morning my lips feel smooth, plumped and firm. No other  lip balms can ever beat it. But it's so expensive. I only use it when I absolutely need it.

Now my favorite lip balm for now. It's the Jill Stuart Fruit Lip Balm tint color. It's one of the 4 Limited Edition Fruit Lip Balm tint colors. I got the 101 strawberry tint. For some reason the picture is a little on the red side. The real color is more fuchsia. Not like the B&C lip balm, the Jill Stuart is a lot lighter and more moisturizing thanks to its oil formula. It keeps my lips smooth, soft and vigorously conditioned all the time. It has a floral fruity smell, not exactly strawberry but quite close. And the packaging is just kawaii. The price is not as expensive as Dior and Cle de Peau.

Here are more pictures of the JS Lip Balm.

So if price is not an issue, my favorite lip balm would definitely be the CDP Lip Treatment. But overall, the JS lip tint is a better choice which makes me want to collect the rest of the collection.
