Dolce & Gabbana the Eyeshadow

I just realized that I have a lot of eyeshadows in my makeup collection. Today I'm showing you two Dolce & Gabbana eyeshadows that I got last year. My husband picked them up for me because I think guys have better tastes than women?

Scarlett Johansson is wearing Stromboli Quad for the ad campaign.

The box is glossy black with gold letters, somewhat like Chanel's. The size of the Duos and Quads are the exactly same except that the Duos are 0.17oz. while the Quads are 0.16oz. They're both made in Italy and the shelf life is 36 months.

The palette itself is in a gold compact case with a black velvet pouch. The palettes I got are the eyeshadow SMOOTH EYE COLOUR Duo in 130 Gold and Quad in 170 Night.

The two shades in the Gold Duo are a mustard yellow pearly sheen and a coppery bronze metallic shimmer. Both shades blend flawlessly with great color pay off. The powders are very fine and go on smoothly.

The four shades in Night Quads are a plum pearl, a deep navy matte with very little particles, a grey-ish silver frosty metallic and a purple frosty sheen. It's more dramatic looking, that's why it's called night. The shadows are a lot smaller compared to the Duos.

Overall, these shadows are very high quality. They don't cake or flake, no fall off either. The pigmentation is impactful and the colors are vibrant. If there are any flaws, it could be the price and the applicators not as high quality as some other brands'.
